Merit Preparatory Academy is honored to recognize the exceptional achievements of our Sterling Scholar Award recipients for the 2023–24 academic year. The Sterling Scholar Award program in Utah is a prestigious initiative that honors high school seniors for their outstanding contributions across various categories. Seniors submit applications at the school level, and then create comprehensive portfolios, which are meticulously reviewed by expert judges in each respective field.
Each of Merit's Sterling Scholar Award recipients who submitted a full portfolio will now compete at the regional level. Following review of portfolios and interviews with judges this month, the finalists will be announced on Friday, February 16.
At Merit, we strive to foster an environment that helps our students develop in all facets of life. Our Sterling Scholar Award recipients embody the spirit of our school, serving as leaders and role models for their peers. Join us in congratulating the students below for their dedication to the excellence that we seek to promote daily at Merit.
We wish our Sterling Scholar Award recipients the best of luck in this next phase of competition! Together, we continue to celebrate and strive for excellence in scholarship, leadership, and service at Merit Preparatory Academy.
